Football Career Simulator: play a whole career in minutes

Futbolle's Football Career Simulator lets you create a player and live an entire football career, from your first academy contract at 16 to the day you hang up your boots. You pick a nationality, a position, a shirt number and your stronger foot, then choose between three academy offers. From there every season is simulated: appearances, goals or clean sheets, your overall rating, your market value and the trophies your team wins.

The career is built on 1,226 clubs in 72 leagues across 55 countries, from the Premier League, LaLiga and the Süper Lig to the Argentine third tier and the K League. Clubs have their own strength, so a move to a giant means more trophies but less playing time, while a smaller club can make you a starter and a hero. It is free, runs in the browser and needs no account.

How to play

  1. Create your player. Choose one of 211 nationalities, one of 12 positions from goalkeeper to striker, a name for the back of the shirt, a number and your stronger foot.
  2. Sign an academy contract. Three clubs offer you a place in their academy. Team strength and your expected role are shown on every offer, so you can choose between a big name and real minutes.
  3. Watch the seasons play out. Each season is simulated week by week with a live league table feel: matches, goals, assists, rating changes and the trophies won along the way.
  4. Make the big decisions. Transfer windows, loan offers, contract renewals and life events stop the clock. Every option shows its odds, so you always know the risk you are taking.
  5. Retire and share. End the career when you want, or play until 40. You get a summary of every club, trophy and award, plus a share card you can post or download.

What is in the game

Real clubs and leagues

1,226 clubs in 72 leagues, including second and third divisions, with promotion and relegation.

Transfers and loans

Offers depend on your rating, age and form. Stay, move, go on loan or sign permanently with the club that loaned you.

Life decisions

Extra training, a personal coach, a dubious supplement, a rival's offer, an injury before a final, a grandfather from another country: 33 kinds of event, each with its own risk.

Penalty moments

When a title depends on one kick, you choose the corner. Goalkeepers choose where to dive.

Trophies and awards

League titles, national cups, continental trophies, the Club World Cup, the World Cup, the Ballon d'Or, the Golden Boot and the Golden Glove: 105 trophy designs in total.

45 achievements

From winning the treble to a career at a single club, from Ballon d'Or wins outside Europe to finishing without a single title.

Leaderboard

A finished career enters the daily, weekly and monthly tables automatically under your shirt name. The ranking uses a single career score combining rating, market value, trophies and output for your position.

Three career lengths

  • Long: A decision every season. The richest career, with the most transfers and events.
  • Normal: A decision every two seasons. The recommended balance between story and speed.
  • Express: A decision every three seasons. A full career in a few minutes.

How decisions change your career

Your overall rating grows with age and playing time, peaks in your late twenties and slowly declines after 30. Decisions push it up or down: some effects are permanent, others last only for a season, and the screen tells you which is which.

Playing time matters as much as rating. A starter at a mid-table club develops faster than a substitute at a champion, but the champion wins more trophies. Choosing between the two is the heart of the game.

Tips for a legendary career

  • Early in your career, pick minutes over prestige: a loan to a club where you start is often the best move.
  • Move to a stronger club when your rating is above the squad average, not before.
  • Risky offers can pay off, but a suspension or a season on the bench can cost you a peak year.
  • Club and national team trophies both count for the achievements, so do not ignore your country.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Football Career Simulator free?

Yes. It is completely free, runs in your browser on phone or computer and does not need an account or a download.

Are the clubs real?

Yes. The game uses 1,226 real club names in 72 leagues across 55 countries, including lower divisions. Team strength is our own estimate of each club's standing in its league.

How long does a career take?

A career runs from age 16 to retirement, at the latest at 40. In Express mode it takes a few minutes; in Long mode, with a decision every season, about twenty.

Is my career saved?

Yes. Your current career and unlocked achievements are saved in your browser, so you can close the page and continue later on the same device.

Can I play as a goalkeeper?

Yes. Goalkeepers keep clean sheets instead of scoring goals, can win the Golden Glove and dive for penalties in decisive moments.

Can I win the Ballon d'Or?

Yes. Individual awards go to the players with the best rating and the best season. A Ballon d'Or with a non-European nationality also unlocks an achievement.

Is my result the same if I make the same choices?

Each career has its own random seed, so two careers never play out the same way, even with the same club and the same decisions.

How does the leaderboard work?

When you finish a career it enters the day's, week's and month's tables under your shirt name automatically, with no sign-up. Your best career in each period counts. The score is calculated by our server, which replays your career from your decisions, not by your browser.
