How to play Pyramid

Pyramid doesn't ask which players you know — it asks how they compare. You get one label, like “Champions League goals”, and ten players to rank from highest to lowest. Knowing who scored is easy; knowing who scored more is not.

The idea in one paragraph

The next player is named at the bottom. Tap an empty box to place them. Top is the highest value, bottom the lowest. Once every box is filled, SUBMIT appears — correct positions turn green, wrong ones red, and every real number is revealed.

How to think about it

  • Place the extremes first. The highest and lowest are usually obvious; the middle is where the game is won.
  • Drag when unsure. Until you submit, cards can be swapped by pressing and holding — nothing is locked in.
  • Spend the HINT in the middle. One per game: pressing it before placing anything wastes it, saving it for the end is too late.
  • Photos and flags are information. They remind you which era a player belongs to, and era usually settles the order.

Where the numbers come from

Every number comes from data, not memory. The Süper Lig and international puzzles are pulled from Wikipedia record tables and the source link is stored with the data. Players with identical values are deliberately removed: with a tie there is no single correct order, and you would be marked wrong unfairly.

Scoring and the daily reset

To win, all ten must be in the right place. Results share as a pyramid of coloured squares that gives nothing away. A new puzzle arrives at midnight in your own time zone.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you play Pyramid?

You rank ten players by the given stat, highest at the top and lowest at the bottom.

Can I move cards after placing them?

Yes. Before you submit, press and hold a card and drag it onto another box to swap them. Tapping a card takes it back instead.

What does HINT do?

It shows which cards are already in the correct place. It can be used once per game.

How many do I need to win?

All ten must be in the right order. If you fall short you still see which positions were right and every real number.

Are the numbers up to date?

The Süper Lig and international puzzles are pulled from Wikipedia record tables and refreshed by the sync; the source link is stored with the data.
