How to play Football Tenable (Top 10)
Football Tenable — some people call it Tenaball or Teneball, here it's Top 10 — doesn't test what you know, it tests what you can retrieve. You get a question, something like “Real Madrid's 10 most expensive signings”, and ten empty slots. You almost certainly know all ten answers. Getting all ten out of your head at once is the hard part.
The idea in one paragraph
Every question has exactly ten correct answers, ranked by a number. Type a name; if it's on the list it drops into its own rank with its value shown. You have 5 wrong guesses. Order is irrelevant — naming the seventh before the first is fine.
How to think about it
- Start with the obvious one. The name at the top is usually the one everybody knows, and it opens a slot for free.
- Sweep by era. The names that won't come to you are usually from a different decade — when the 2010s run dry, drop back to the 2000s.
- Save the shaky guesses for last. Five lives is not many; burn three on hunches and you've no room left to actually think.
- Repeats are free. Typing the same wrong answer twice costs nothing — you just get a nudge.
What the questions are
There are more than 440 lists in the rotation, all built from real records: all-time top scorers of the big leagues and the Champions League, most-capped players for national teams, clubs' appearance and goal records, Ballon d'Or and UEFA award rankings, World Cup finals and record transfer fees. Some ask for a single season ("Premier League 2023/24 — most goals + assists"), some for a whole history ("Barcelona's 10 all-time top scorers").
Scoring, sharing and the daily reset
There's no score, just how many of the ten you got. The shareable result is a row of squares that gives nothing away. A new question arrives at midnight in your own time zone, and everyone playing that day gets the same one.
